Who We Are

As Causey Development Trust is a charity it’s necessary to have Trustees and Officers. Trustees are David Wood, Isobel Leckie and Alex Macdonald, former minister of Buccleuch and Greyfriars Free Church. Sarah Drummond is Chairperson, Isobel Leckie Secretary and Nina Russell Treasurer. 

CDT is guided and supported by a group of about 15 local people known as the Steering Group whose backgrounds include PR, Architecture, Planning, Education, the Arts, Filmmaking, Video Projections, Compliance and Project Management. 

There’s no formal membership with people contributing as and when they wish, according to their interests. The only requirement is that they share and support our aim to make West Crosscauseway cleaner, healthier, safer, more attractive and neighbourly.

Before Covid19 lockdowns the Steering Group met every couple of months in the Southside Community Centre but meetings have been online recently. Here’s some Causey folk.
