This was a very successful event! Participants from The Southside Heritage Group, The Living Memory Association, local churches, artists, residents and The City of Edinburgh Council visited The Royal Commission for the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS at Bernard Terrace has free admission and is open to all without an appointment) to see and research the history of The Causey. With the support of a professional team of architects and designers they then expressed in models and collages their hopes of how The Causey could be used and designed for people. The Greenmantle on West Crosscauseway provided a delicious buffet lunch.

The content and activity of the workshops was led by RCAHMS at their site and by ARCADE Architects at Southside Community Centre. Filming was carried out by Glenda Rome and stills photography by Peter Dibdin. The event was co-ordinated by Isobel Leckie.
